1992
The Beginning
- Swiss Pac was founded to make packaging for our sister chocolate manufacturing company, Swiss Chocolate.
- Printing and lamination machines were installed from Mumbai, India.
1996
Packaging Becomes Our Focus
Chocolate manufacturing was closed, and packaging became our only focus.
1997–2001
Learning the Global Export Business
We learned the export business and developed the knowledge needed to reach customers in global markets.
2001
Our First Exports
We started exporting, beginning with South Africa.
2002–2006
Expanding Our Pouch Range
Added stand-up and spout pouches to our product range.
2007
Coffee Valve Pouches
Launched coffee valve pouches, becoming the first in India to offer this packaging format.
2008
Global Expansion & Stock Pouches
- Expanded into Europe and the U.S.
- Focused on improving print and pouch quality.
- Launched stock pouches with more than 1,700 SKUs, becoming the world's largest stock pouch producer.
2010
Flat-Bottom Pouches
Manufactured flat-bottom pouches for the first time in India.
2012
Advanced Printing & Lamination
- Invested in Japanese printing and lamination technology.
- Introduced foil-stamped pouches and rolls, the first of their kind in India.
2014
Automation & Japanese Technology
- Added a robotic spout-inserting line.
- Added Japanese pouch-making lines.
2015
Building Our Own ERP
Built our own ERP system to strengthen and streamline our operations.
2017
Packaging Innovation
- Introduced laser-scored, easy-open pouches, the first in India.
- Introduced child-resistant pouches, the first in India.
- Introduced slider zipper pouches, the first in India.
- Became the first in India to introduce flat-bottom pouches with 45-degree termination.
2018
Scaling Manufacturing & Digital Commerce
- Nine Japanese pouch-making lines were running.
- Launched online shopping across 10 countries, with 1,700 SKUs.
- Launched Storezo hermetic storage solutions.
- Launched powder-proof zipper pouches, the first in India.
2019
Sustainable Packaging
- Launched sustainable packaging solutions including Plantmade, Wastemade, Papermade and Swissloop.
- Launched recyclable, PCR, compostable and plastic-free pouches, all as firsts in India.
2021
Expanding Manufacturing & Technology
- Added our second manufacturing unit in Vadodara.
- Introduced digital printing for short-run production.
- Launched Swisstech Unicorn, our IT and marketing company.
2024
In-House Flexographic Printing
Added CI Flexo printing with plate-making capabilities in-house.
2026

Our evolution
From Print to Platform
Swiss Pac has continuously reinvested in technology from rotogravure printing to digital presses, from manual laminates to automated retort lines. Today we offer end-to-end packaging services: design, print, laminate, and deliver.
Headquartered in India
Our manufacturing facility operates with the latest technology, and our offices span Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore to serve clients nationwide.
